We took the combo tour of Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout the weekend after Thanksgiving. The weather was beautiful, sunny day with low winds. Got to see the horses and do some shelling. Then we visited Cape Lookout and saw the lighthouse. Karen and Captain John were the perfect hosts! Got us to and from the islands and even got to see dolphins playing during our cruise. Highly recommend this trip.

We have had multiple trips this summer. Capt. George is the best as always but he outdid himself today!! A huge THANKS to him for taking the time to look because we sure got lucky and saw a lot of dolphins. We already can't wait till next time. 💙🌊

The ferry service is excellent. Both guys were friendly and helpful when I had questions. The island itself is magnificent. I lucked out as it was late December but in the high 60's. I could walk for miles around the island and not see anyone. I would highly recommend to anyone else wanting to get away for a few days.

This is the perfect adventure for kids and adults alike. The ferry captains are great and the experience is one to remember. There is nothing quite like being on an uninhabited island and finding awesome sea shells in abundance. The wooden walkways to the ocean side of the island are terrific. Benches are spaced perfectly for those who need to catch a rest.

Staff and crew were helpful, professional and friendly with the Down East flair that keeps Harkers Island a truly unique gem here in the great United States.
